Introduction to Buddhism

This course, offered by Nalandabodhi Akasha, consists of weekly live Zoom sessions that will take place on Monday nights, from August 25 to December 22, 2025 at 7-8:30pm Mountain Time, August 25-December 22, 2025. All participants will have access to recordings of the sessions.

This spacious, beginner-friendly series offers an accessible entry point to Buddhist teachings and practices. Whether you’re brand new to Buddhism or returning with fresh questions, this course is open to all who feel called to explore the path of awakening.
Course content
In a world that moves too fast, how do we stay present, compassionate, and rooted? How can we live with depth, authenticity, and integrity in a culture that often values surface over substance? Join us for an exploration of how Buddhist wisdom and practice can inspire and empower our lives.
Each class includes presentations on key topics, guided reflections, and opportunities for small and large group discussion. Guest teachers from the Nalandabodhi community will join us throughout the course, offering a rich opportunity to connect more deeply with our vibrant sangha.
