You are most welcome to join us in our Sunday shamatha meditation and discussion sessions that take place weekly on Zoom, starting at 9 am Pacific Time. After the opening chants, we spend 45 minutes in silent meditation, with some of the time given to walking meditation for anyone who wishes to do this. Subsequently, some of us stay on to discuss a predefined topic. The meditation and discussion together last for about 1.5 hours.

Path of Mindful Activity
The path of Mindful Living connects the path of Study and the path of Meditation with every aspect of our lives in a concrete and practical way. We can make every moment meaningful by applying the clarity of study and the experience of meditation in our daily lives. The collaboration with the European Sanghas, has resulted in POMA being offered by Akasha again starting in November of this year, with a live session previous to that with Mitra Dean Mark on October 18th. The regular dates will be: 1, 15, 29 November, 20 December and 3 and 17 January, each from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Topics covered in POMA include motivation/aspiration, applying mindfulness to daily activities, and developing kindness and compassion. The texts and teachings are in English, translation into German will be available.
