Nalandabodhi Akasha is pleased to invite you to an Open Heart Circle practice on Saturday February 11. The Open Heart Circle practice is an adapted Mahayana practice that is traditionally done to support those who are ill, dying or have recently died. Together we will hold space for your experience of loss, whether for loved ones (including animal friends) who have recently died, to observe death anniversaries, and to honor other types of grief such as major life transitions. With all the suffering in our world today, we can include the suffering of all sentient beings and our precious planet.
If it speaks to you, please bring a candle to the practice, to offer the light of healing wisdom and illuminate the path for all sentient beings, and bring them from the darkness of confusion and suffering into the light of wisdom and compassion. We will have time to discuss our experiences of loss after the practice. You are welcome to bring a picture or poem to honor your loved ones or your feelings of loss.
When: Saturday, February 11, at 10:30am Pacific Time/1:30 pm Eastern Time/7:30pm Central Europe Time
The practice and discussion will be held online via Zoom
This practice is free and open to all. Donations to Nalandabodhi’s One Heart Mandala Fund are gratefully accepted.
